Afragola literally tormented by crime. Two events occurred within a few minutes:
Around ten o’clock this morning, the commander of the Carabinieri Raimondo Sempervivo he goes together with colleagues to the Afragola station to carry out a detention order. Arrived in via Falconieri, in the historic center of Afragola, Anchevivo, with his men, goes to the house of the convicted felon. The subject begins to rant, kicking, punching and biting the commander. His colleagues intervene and manage to block and arrest him.
Sempervivo ends up under observation in the hospital “Saint John of God” of Frattamaggiore, with the convicted person sent to prison. In addition to the main charges, he will also have to answer for insult, violence and resistance to a public official.
Meanwhile, in the nearby Corso Vittorio Emanuele, two criminals attack a lady near the headquarters of the Banco di Napoli. In the scuffle, a plainclothes carabiniere intervenes and suffers a blow to the head with the cast of the gun.
The robbery goes through. The sum of money taken by the robbers would be considerable. The policeman ended up in hospital; there is no news of the woman.
