ANCONA – Last week the activity of the State Police in relation to immigration was very intense, both in terms of the reception of migrants and as regards the fight against the permanence of irregular and dangerous foreign citizens for the public order and safety present in the territory of the capital and the province. On this last front the work has been remarkable.

Two dangerous citizens accompanied in the Cpr

Two foreign citizens considered dangerous to public order and safety were accompanied to the CPRs of Potenza and Brindisi. In particular they concerned a Moroccan citizen, aged 26, burdened by numerous criminal records for violation of the law on narcotics, who was accompanied thanks also to the collaboration of the soldiers of the Carabinieri of Jesi, and a Romanian citizen, aged 36 , with a criminal record for resisting a public official, refusing to give his name and being drunk, who was accompanied by the Ancona Railway Police.

A young man from Bangladesh expelled

Last Friday, it was possible to execute an expulsion decree against a Bangladeshi citizen, aged around 24, who had been illegally on Italian territory for some time, by being accompanied to the border.

It was the epilogue of a long and complex activity which began with the request for identification by the consular authorities of Bangladesh, up to obtaining the pass necessary to carry out the repatriation. There have been 11 repatriations carried out since the beginning of the year up to this moment by the Doric Police Headquarters, 2 more than the 9 carried out from January to May 2023.
