In Molise e-commerce grows by 19% compared to 2023

The number of parcels delivered to Molise by Poste Italiane letter carriers continues to grow. A growing trend throughout Italy, which in Molise in the first quarter of the year saw an increase of +19.3% compared to the same period of the previous year. The Molise one is the highest increase recorded in Italy.

Strengths

Capillarity, efficiency of distribution and continuous transformation of Poste Italiane’s logistics network which throughout the region can count on a fleet of 335 vehicles (of which 26 are electric and another 127 with low environmental impact), are the factors that have made it possible to achieve this important milestone and which help to guarantee the delivery service throughout the territory, from the smallest municipalities to the largest cities. Poste Italiane CEO Matteo Del Fante, in an interview with TGPoste after the presentation of the company’s results, underlined that “logistics has shown strong resilience. The results were excellent and in the first three months of this year, Poste Italiane delivered 71 million parcels”. Furthermore, Del Fante specified, “We have recorded the historical record of parcels delivered by our postmen. A few years ago postmen did not deliver parcels, now over 30% of parcels were delivered by them, allowing us to project the company into the future”.
