The Basilicata Region has published the tender “A nursery for children”, with a budget of 1.6 million euros. The initiative is aimed at municipalities in internal and peripheral areas to activate nursery schools and support the education of children up to six years old
The main objective is to finance the activation of nursery schools in small municipalities in internal and peripheral areas, where there is a lack of educational services for children aged 0-36 months. Furthermore, the call provides for contributions to Municipalities that intend to ensure the attendance of the educational service for children with special needs in the 0-6 year age group, or that want to implement educational activities in additional times compared to the standard ones.
This intervention aims to combat educational poverty and guarantee access to quality services in all the Municipalities of Basilicata, regardless of their geographical position or the size of the population of children up to six years old.

The deadline for submitting applications is August 2nd at 12:00.
