GALLARATE – A new novel for the Gallaratese author Adelfo Maurizio Fornialways paired with Stefano Bandera. The presentation, organized by the cultural platform La Scintilla, will be held Saturday 8 June in the Empire Hall at 4.45pm. Forni himself will also be the protagonist of an evening at Inarzo next June 13th.

A new mystery in Gallarate

The title of the new novel, published by Macchione, is entitled The sun will rise again in Gallarate too. Like the previous two Il rebus di Gallarate e The Malpensa accident was written by four hands from the award-winning company Bandera&Forni, both from Gallara, writers and history enthusiasts. It is once again a thrillerwhich again features “Rebus”, the Gallaratese tailor and investigator by hobby or by coincidence, who finds himself catapulted into the midst of events of historical importance. The story in this case is set in 1943, between dictatorship, war and racism. In 200 pages accompanied by around 30 period images, the story unfolds which revolves around a crime and a complicated investigation.

Meeting with the author in Inarzo

And another appointment will soon feature Adelfo Maurizio Forniwho will be the monthly guest in June of the “Meeting with the author” event promoted by the culture department of Inarzo. The appointment is for Thursday 13th at 9pm in the oratory hall in via Vanetti 5, with free admission. The evening will be moderated by Emiliano Pedroni. Forni will present on the occasion some of his short story books published in recent years: Kintsugi (I Murazzi Award 2023), The Last Waltz on the Titanic, The Dowser, That day (2023 Emily Dickinson Award).
