PALERMO – The tourist offer in the non-hotel sector in the province of Palermo is growing at great speed: there are already several thousand operators who carry out holiday home, B&B, guest house and tourist rental activities.
It is to them that the Confare association, a member of Confcommercio Palermo, addresses itself. which organizes a “Hospitality Masterclass” which will take place for the entire day of June 18th at Villa Spazio Tempu, in Palermo, with the partnership of Booking.com, a leading platform in the tourism and holiday sector.
The title of the event is “The evolution of the sector, future scenarios, the creation of a Community” and includes the participation of a manager from the Area Manager for Italy and an Account Manager from Booking.com who will illustrate some macro trends of the tourism sector, in particular of the Palermo destination, with a focus on the non-hotel segment.
The tools offered by the Booking.com management system will also be presented, sharing strategies to best use them to intercept demand and optimize the performance of your facilities.
“It is a constantly evolving sector – explains Alberto Costa, president of Confare Palermo – and it is important that all operators are updated on legal regulations, on technical, administrative and fiscal aspects. Confare was born precisely for this need, that of offering services and assistance and to provide the appropriate tools to increase the professionalism and competence of our operators”. The event is organized in collaboration with Volkswagen Auto System Palermo.
