Tuesday 4 June, at 12.00, in Bolognaat the headquarters of Libera Bolognain via Pietralata 58, the press conference to present theAppeal for transparency and legality aimed at candidates for the 2024 Administrative, Regional and European Elections in Piedmont, promoted by Public Notice And Free.
The event will see the presence of the Provincial Coordinator of Public Notice, Angela Di PilatoCouncilor of the Municipality of Valsamoggia (BO), of Andrea Giagnorio contact person for libera Bologna and Giulia Sartidelegate Democratic legality and fight against mafias of the metropolitan city of Bologna.
They are invited to participate the candidates for the municipal and European elections in Emilia Romagna who during the press conference will be able to demonstrate their support for the Appeal, sign it and thus publicly assume the concrete commitments set out in it.
The Appeal asks to all candidates to include the issue of mafias and corruption within electoral programmes, to publicly declare the refusal of votes and other forms of support from those who work and live in organized crime and to say how electoral campaigns are financedto rebuild that sense of trust with citizens which is increasingly fraying.
To date, they are over 700 candidates and candidates to the next European, Regional and Administrative Elections to be held signed the Appeal. The members come from all over Italy and belong to different political groups to demonstrate that the fight against the mafia does not and must not have any political colour, but the general interest, the good of the community and the promotion of the rights and duties of citizenship of each one.
