Giovanni Criscione’s book reconstructs the history of the Passogatta massacre: a fascist and state massacre whose truth remained buried in the archives for over a hundred years. “I would like to express – declares the author – my heartfelt thanks to the publisher Sicilia Punto L and to all those who believed in this book. Being among the finalists of a prestigious award, one of the few dedicated to non-fiction, is an important recognition that fills me with joy. This recognition is not only a personal achievement, but is also and above all a tribute to the memory and historical truth that I have tried to bring to light.”
