CARRARA. There will be 484 Azzurri fans following Carrarese and filling the “Curva Nord Ospiti” sector for this evening’s match in Benevento (kick-off at 9pm).

In short, the Calabro team will not be alone, thanks to the Apuan supporters ready to undertake a real exodus, given the almost 600 kilometers of travel. In recent days several buses have been organised, to cushion the weight and cost of the longest trip of the season as much as possible.

Benevento Calcio, through its website, also communicated that the doors of the “Vigorito” stadium will be open to the public starting from 7pm. The temporary suspension of vehicular traffic in via Avellino, where the Carrarese fans will pass, has been decreed.

Already yesterday, all the free tickets to watch the match via the giant screen, set up at the Stadio dei Marmi by the Municipal Administration, were sold out. Ticket holders will be able to access the stadium grandstand for this evening’s semi-final second leg of the playoffs between Benevento and Carrarese.

The Municipality of Carrara will set up a giant screen on the lawn of the stadium to allow fans to watch the match for free. The giant screen will be positioned in front of the grandstand of the municipal facility, the gates will open at 7.30 pm. Given the safety provisions and given the limited capacity of the grandstand (990 seats plus 8 disabled people and 8 companions), to access the stadium it will be necessary to present one of the free coupons that were distributed this afternoon at the stadium’s ticket office . Contrary to what was previously communicated, the ticket office will not reopen today. Fans are invited to go to the stadium only if they have an entry ticket.

Meanwhile, an exceptional public following is also expected on the Benevento side. The “Ciro Vigorito” stadium will be an authentic Giallorossi bedlam with the impressive number of 9000 spectators getting ever closer. In fact, yesterday the data available indicated that 8,148 coupons were purchased by local supporters. The Curva Sud (Upper and Lower), the Central Grandstand and the Upper Covered Grandstand are already sold out. We are moving towards exhaustion of available places also in the Higher Distinguishes. The previous seasonal record dating back to the derby against Avellino was pulverized (around 7,600 spectators, of which a thousand from Irpinia).
