Montallegroexperience.eu is born, a tourism promotion portal to enhance and promote the experiences that can be had in the area. The project, which also includes a promotional campaign on social networks, is managed by the Municipality of Montallegro.
“In our area – says the mayor Giovanni Cirillo – tourism is growing strongly thanks also to the presence of important accommodation facilities and many bed and breakfasts, there are more and more tourists looking for experiences to live as well as places to visit and There are more and more companies and associations that organize activities and events that become tourist attractions. From trekking days to the educational farm, from tastings of typical products to horseback riding, from dinghy tours to bicycle excursions. For this reason, as the municipal administration, we thought of a website to enhance and display all the experiences in a single digital place, thus benefiting tourists and companies and stimulating new connections and interactions”.
“The objective of the Montallegro Experience project – continues the mayor – is to make our territory even more known and to intercept new flows of tourism not only in the summer period, therefore also focusing on deseasonalized tourism, because here you can do tourism all year round. ‘year. The web portal will first serve as a showcase and then as an online booking for experiences in Montallegro and can also be developed as an e-commerce site for the sale of agri-food and artisanal products produced by local companies”.
