“I think that a dream like this never comes back”: this year the claim is a tribute to Domenico Modugno, on the thirtieth anniversary of his death, and to his “In the blue painted in blue” which, widespread in the collective imagination as “Volare ”, will be able to inspire and lead back to the main experience of the event. In this second edition of the Festival, tethered hot air balloon flights with musical background and free flights are planned for a total of 15 crews involved from Italy and Europe. In the first four events, in Marina di Ginosa, Castellaneta, Chiatona and Palagianello, active flights will be restricted: the hot air balloons, anchored to cars, will be able to reach between 15 and 25 meters in height. Even people with sensory disabilities will be able to try this unique experience on board a special hot air balloon, in collaboration with the voluntary citizen associations of the Municipalities of Palagianello, Marina di Ginosa, Palagiano, Castellaneta and Laterza. In the last three days, a Laterza, in addition to the anchored ascents, there will be the possibility of booking a free tourist flight for a maximum of 13-14 people. There will be two sessions dedicated to free flight: the first in the morning from 7.00 to 10.00 and the second in the late afternoon from 17.00 to 20.00. Fixed flights, however, are scheduled in each of the four stages from 7.00 pm to 10.00 pm.
