OSIMO – In Osimo there is war over the antenna issue. Citizens don’t want them near their homes and are fighting by asking the Municipality to remedy this. The topic is among the most debated of the current electoral campaign. The other evening a citizens’ meeting was held for what should arise in via Molino Mensa. They have already signed a popular petition to say no to the 5G structure which should be built next to the Santilli sports field and the community centre. Precisely in that area large banners appeared to say no. In the meantime, good news arrives on the other girl’s case via Tonnini, whose installation had a halt to the authorization process.
Mayor Simone Pugnaloni communicated this to her: «Our commitment alongside citizens has always been the bulwark of our administrative action. The operative part of the ruling has been published Tar on the issue of the antenna in via Tonnini. The court rejects the telephone company’s suspension and adjourns the judgment to March 2025. The Municipality turned to the TAR to defend its fellow citizens and this time the law proved us right. This good news is useful, as I was saying, also for the future judgment that the same court will have to express on the antenna in Via Fosso”.
For the one in via Molino Mensa (in addition to a meeting with the candidate scheduled for tonight 1 June, the last of the many also promoted by the other aspirants to the mayor’s seat), the Municipality reiterates that it cannot prevent the telephone company to reach an agreement with a private individual, if he has obtained the necessary authorizations from the relevant bodies, such as Arpam for example. The only tool to use is the Antenna Plan that Osimo has equipped itself with, it has identified public places as the main route where to locate the new antennas but in any case it cannot oblige, but rather suggest and support this choice for a possible placement of the systems and prefer them sites.
