Biniam Girmay (Intemarché-Wanty) wins the third stage of the Tour de France in Turin, in a sprint characterized by a bad fall in the final that cut out, among others, Jasper Philipsen. Second position for Fernando Gaviria (Movistar), the Belgian champion third Arnaud De Lie (Lotto-Dstny), then Mads Pedersen (Lidl Trek) e Dylan Groenewegen (Jayco-AlUla), while Davide Ballerini (eighth) is the best of the Italians. For the placings, meanwhile, Richard Carapaz (EF Education-EasyPost) is the new yellow jersey of this Tour de France.

17.02 (-3 km): We have entered the last 5 kilometres, so from now on neutralization is expected in the event of a fall or mechanical problem. Yellow jersey Tadej Pogacar loses positions, while Carapaz seems to want to make the sprint.
