You select aextra actress per “The Dance of the Tarot”, an independent short film essay by a student at the Mohole Film School in Milan. The shooting will always take place in Pavia and province of Pavia, from July 13th to 15th 2024. There will be 3 days of official posing but further availability is required (dates to be fixed) for costume fittings, on-set fittings, etc.
The figure sought is that of a girl/dancer stage age 19-25 years. Knowing how to dance En Point is mandatory. Required experience in the field of classical dance. All aspiring candidates must send an artistic CV with any previous experience specifying their personal data (name, surname, email, home number), a close-up photo on a neutral background (no selfies, no sunglasses, no seaside photo), a full-length photo on a neutral background (no selfies, no sunglasses, no seaside photos) and a short self-introduction video, accompanied by an improvisation video of your choice, lasting a maximum of 1 minute , and one on part of the screenplay.
Please remember that videos must have a good lighting and the subject must be as close to the camera as possible. Finally, a video of En Pointe dancing will also be attached to the email. Application deadline: 8 July 2024. All requested material must be sent to the email address [email protected] as an attachment in a single compressed folder named SURNAME_NAME_ETA (Example: Lombardo_Sofia_36) or via WeTransfer link.
It is recommended to insert as the subject of the email: CASTING LA DANZA DEI TAROCCHI – BALLERINA – YOUR SURNAME AND NAME. The selected candidates will be contacted for an online audition that will be held during the week of February 19-23. Following a second skimming, there will then be an in-person audition in Milan in the week from 26 February to 1 March. Since this is an academic project, participation will not be paid.
