Live music events are back at the Vibo Valentia district houseorganized by Club Soroptimist international (Clubs of Calabria: Catanzaro, Cosenza, Crotone, Lamezia Terme, Palmi, Reggio Calabria, Soverato) in collaboration with the Torrefranca Conservatory of Music of Vibo Valentia, the ETS Calabria Promoculture Association and the Liceo Statale Musicale Capialbi of Vibo Valentia.
The “Music beyond” projectaware of Music’s ability to unite different stories and experiences, breaking barriers and breaking down boundaries, therefore plans a series of concerts to be held in the months of May and June, in which Music itself will take on a meaning of social inclusion.
The program of events
The events will begin on Friday 31 May with the sax Ensemble, led by the masters Isabella Fabbri and Edoardo Zotti, and will continue on Friday 7 June with the Clarinet Ensemble, formed by the masters Tommaso Rotella and Francesco Giardino, to end on Friday 14 June with the Accordion Trio of maestro Giancarlo Palena’s class. On the occasion of the concert on 7 June, the Promocultura ETS Association will set up an exhibition of ancient musical instruments and scores, dating back to the end of the 19th century, supplied to the musical bands inside the penitentiary.
