Forlì, they harass taxi drivers and travellers: the Carabinieri intervene

Anti-drug, anti-bivouac and urban security checks: these were the objectives that the Carabinieri of Forlì pursued as part of a coordinated service for the control of the territory carried out in recent days.

The particular activity, coordinated by the Provincial Command of Viale Mazzini and the local Prefecture, was repeated in recent days, with the aim of discourage and remove individuals who sometimes enjoy disturbing travelers in transit and taxi drivers themselves in carrying out their work.

The prevention and control action, carried out by the men of the force, saw the use of 4 patrols, personnel in civilian clothes, as well as dog units, forces which were coordinated personally by the company commander. The activity was focused in the area of ​​the railway station, where they were identified a small group of young people who found fun and entertainment in disturbing travellers in transit while, at the “Portici”, several boys were checked, two of whom, both 20 years old, did not escape the scent of “Dalla”, a 5-year-old Belgian Malinois shepherd from the Emilia Romagna Dog Nucleus Association of Faenza, who they were found in possession of a small quantity of hashish.

This activity, carried out in the broader “security project” wanted by the Prefecture of Forlì-Cesena, made it possible to proceed with the identification and control of over 60 individuals on foot, all checked in the city areas, subject to repeated reports, including several criminals who frequented a club in the historic center. As many as 4 anti-bivouac sanctions have been imposed on those who usually consume drinks and alcohol while sitting on the sidewalks of the historic centre.
