Presentation of “My Diary” School Agenda 2024-2025 – Alessandria Police Headquarters

The State Police in collaboration with the Ministry of Education and Merit and the support of the Ministry of Economy and Finance, presented the new edition of the school diary “My Diary”, intended to 50,000 students of the future fourth classes of some provinces of the national territory.

The school agenda is presented as a teaching support tool in the education of tomorrow’s citizens and aims, through content and simple language, to bring very young citizens closer to the culture of legality, providing a contribution in education to respect rules and values ​​of civil coexistence.

To date, the project, now in its 11th edition, has made it possible to reach over 630,000 students from public and private schools. This year the diary will be distributed in the provinces of Agrigento, Alessandria, Avellino, Catanzaro, Cremona, Foggia, Macerata, Parma, Perugia, Prato, Treviso and Trieste.

The protagonists of the agenda are the superheroes of legality Vis and Musa who, with the help of their four-legged friends Lampo and Saetta, the parrot Gea and the kitten Cosmo, will accompany the young students during the school year with their adventures, through which the themes of health, sport, care of the environment, social inclusion, road safety education, correct use of the internet and social networks are addressed, but also the most common phenomena of youth deviance, such as bullying and cyberbullying.

In addition to the friends of the State Police, among the interpreters there is also the well-known character of children’s literature Geronimo Stilton, which he will offer in turn important contributions of value and entertainment.

For the edition dedicated to the 2024-2025 school year, in addition to the themes that have formed the structure of the diary for years, the topics that the Ministry of Education and Merit has included in the programs of the Civic Education subject will be addressed: the Constitution, sustainable development and digital citizenship.

From this perspective, “My Diary” can also represent an effective educational complement for teachers and parents and for State Police personnel engaged in legality education activities in the area on a daily basis.

In the Alessandria province, the Police Headquarters, thanks also to the indispensable help of the Casale Monferrato Police Department, the specialties of the Traffic Police, the Railway Police and the Postal Police, is proceeding with the delivery of approximately 3000 copies of “Il Mio Diario” to various schools of the territory.

Today’s morning, in particular, the symbolic delivery ceremony took place, brilliantly presented by Dr. Roberto CUCCU, at the “De Amicis-Manzoni” Comprehensive Institute of this capital. The same was attended by the children currently attending the third class, the teaching staff and managers of the Institute, Prof. Roberto Margaritella for the Provincial Education Office, the local authorities, led by the Prefect Alessandra Vinciguerra, the representatives of the other Forces of the Order, the Local Police of Alessandria and the Provincial Fire Brigade Command.

The event also saw the presence of exceptional testimonials such as the two Bertram Derthona Basket champions Riccardo Tavernelli and Luca Severini as well as the athletes of the local Fiamme Oro swimming section, who underlined how important values ​​such as friendship are and respect for the rules in the world of sport.

In the pleasant setting of the internal courtyard of the Institute, the Police Commissioner of Alessandria, Dr. Sergio MOLINO, had to support, in the unusual role of being interrogated, the many, precise and very intelligent questions of the third graders, curious, attentive and eager to get to know the world of the State Police in depth.

And after many words, the long-awaited delivery of the diaries finally arrived together with a sweet gift from the companies Elah-Dufour, Pernigotti And Krumiri Rossi of Mrs. Anna Maria Portinaro; immediately after, the children’s attention was directed to the fun exercises of the Bomb Squad and the Dog Department of the Turin Police Headquarters, especially the police dog Faber and the robot Barbara.

The classes that participated in the ceremony were also able to see up close the instruments of the Scientific Police and the Traffic Police present with their stands, their staff and two motor vehicles.
