Albissola/Savona/Vado Ligure. New chemical toilets are being installed on the beaches under the jurisdiction of the Port System Authority, from Albissola Marina to Vado Ligure.

From 1 June 2024 to 15 September 2024, a total of 34 chemical toilets will be available, of which 28 are standard and 6 are suitable for people with disabilities.

The service, entrusted to Kobak Srl, includes not only the rental, but also the installation, daily maintenance and cleaning of these toilets. In addition, all necessary materials will be provided to ensure continuous use, such as soap and toilet paper. Ordinary maintenance will take place with daily interventions, intensified on weekends and holidays, to ensure that the chemical toilets are always clean and functioning.

The bathrooms will also be installed on the free beach below the Lady Moon, which will remain accessible despite the demolition and clearance of the former nightclub, which has been abandoned for years. With the addition of this service, the commitment of the Port System Authority to keeping the coastline accessible and usable is confirmed, as recently demonstrated by the awarding of the Blue Flags to the Fornaci beach in Savona, to that of Albissola Marina, only in part of the responsibility of the AdSP, and to the Darsena tourist port.
