European elections of 8/9 June: On the notice board the manifesto of the 11 lists of the V electoral district – Insular Italy (Sicily – Sardinia)

The Ministry of the Interior, Department of Internal and Territorial Affairs has released the lists of candidates admitted to the election of members of the European Parliament in relation to the seats available to Italy. The manifesto was published on the notice board of the municipal website.

There are 8 candidates due to Italy who may be elected to be members of the European Parliament. 11 lists for the Electoral District V – Insular Italy (Sicily – Sardinia).

Voters of Bagheria will be able to go to the polls on 8 June 2024 from 3.00 pm to 11.00 pm and on Sunday 9 June from 7.00 am to 11.00 pm to choose the representatives to the European Parliament admitted to vote for the Electoral Constituency V – Insular Italy ( Sicily – Sardinia).
At the polling station, each voter will be given two ballots. One for the election of the Mayor of Bagheria and the City Council and another for the election of the deputies of the European Parliament.

WHO CAN VOTE

To elect the members of the European Parliament belonging to Italy, all adult Italian citizens, as of 08 June 2024, registered in the electoral lists of the Municipality of Bagheria, vote.

Community citizens from another Member State who are adults on 8 June 2024 and are registered in the lists added for the European Parliament can also elect the members of the European Parliament belonging to Italy.

HOW TO VOTE FOR THE EUROPEANS

The voter expresses his vote by tracing a mark on the mark of the chosen list. The voter can also express up to three preferences by writing the name and surname or just the surname of the candidate or candidates next to the voted list.

ATTENTION: If more than one preference is expressed, candidates of different genders must be indicated, for example:
– 2 preferences: a man and a woman, or vice versa,
– 3 preferences: two women and one man, or vice versa.
In case of failure to respect the “gender preferences”, the preferences subsequent to the first will be cancelled.

The counting will begin when the polling station closes, immediately after the vote, on Sunday 9 June starting from 11.00 pm. The provisional data will be updated in real time on the municipal website.
