The first rugby festival organized by Iovine Star Rugby Termoli will be held on Saturday 25 May from 4.00 pm at the Gino Cannarsa municipal stadium.
A historic event, tomorrow afternoon, the first official rugby group will finally be held in Termoli. In addition to us there will be the Hammers Campobasso, Pescara Rugby and from Chieti the Polisportiva Abruzzo Rugby.
“I thank the municipality of Termoli, the sports councilor Barile and the councilor Pino Nuozzi for having done their utmost to grant the concession of the Gino Cannarsa stadium” these are the words of the president Giovanni Pellilli “tomorrow there will be over 70 children who will have fun playing Rugby .
For us born just at the end of last summer it is a source of great pride. Playing on a turf like that of Cannarsa will certainly be a joy for all children. Thanks to the support of the Molise delegation of the FIR, the first primary school children from the school in via Maratona, where this year we carried out our first educational project, will also be present for a moment of propaganda. We thank the families for having joined our invitation in large numbers. We can’t wait for tomorrow and we hope that this experience will be the first of a long series and that rugby will become an increasingly protagonist in the sporting reality of Termoli”.
