a welcoming historical reality of Bergamo

Furnishing Space 2.0 is a Bergamo company with over 50 years of experience, which deals with developing projects aimed at distributing and organizing creative and original furnishing solutions. Today it is the modern evolution of what was the consolidated reality in previous years.

Giusi Niccoli, the owner, is 51 years old and has been doing this job for 27. “I am a surveyor and art teacher – he explains Giusi Niccoli – and I took over this business 6 years ago, immediately making use of a valid and competent collaborator, as well as my right-hand man: Susanna Magri”.

The aesthetic line for interior design of Spazio Arredamenti 2.0 is minimal, linear and in its creations it prefers above all natural materials. Its aim is to find the right harmony between the needs of functionality, warmth and elegance required by those who live in their home every day. The space, and the furnishing materials contained in it, can be experienced as experience and therefore as moments and places capable of arousing emotions.

Giusi tells us “For this reason, before designing a house and its interior furnishings it is important to know, by talking to the customer, what his habits are, because understanding how we live within the home allows us to make a project that allows us to live it even better”.

Furthermore, the company is the supplier of a well-known Swedish brand of luxury sleep systems, as well as the official supplier of the Swedish royal family for three generations: Hästensfamous for being the producer of most comfortable beds in the world.

“We are a dynamic and cohesive team. I am very demanding, as the reviews online testify: I make sure that every delivery is punctual and precise, as if it were for my home”, continues Giusi. As proof of this, his collaborator Susanna intervenes: “I’ll give you an example: it happened that he went to a customer and started measuring her clothes to get the right heights for the wardrobe. Few people set out to do such meticulous things. It may seem like a paranoid way of designing, but it works.”

“Our strength is welcoming the customer: our goal is to make him feel at ease and supported – declares Magri -. Many people buy a house but don’t know where to start furnishing it: this is where we come in and help them with this. path from start to finish, from the choice of interior finishes to color consultancy. It is help that can make the customer feel less lost and helps them realize the home of their dreams. If we don’t have the right product we make sure to procure it or make it to measure by developing more than one solution to allow the customer to make his choice. In my opinion, the winning aspect of our approach is not making the customer feel obliged to buy”.

Their motto, in fact, is: “You can completely rely on us! We take care of everything from start to finish, from preliminary design studies, to technical surveys and executions, up to the direction of assembly. And if there’s a problem… it’s solved!”

What emerges from the Google reviews (all with a rating of 5/5) is that customers at Spazio Arredamenti 2.0 feel at home. “We work a lot thanks to word of mouth, an echo of the satisfaction of our customers. We believe that our commitment and attention that we dedicate to details are among the most requested, appreciated and convincing aspects. We collaborate 360° with architects, designers and artisans in the sector using quality brands and making use of carpentry shops for tailor-made creations”, comments Niccoli.

“Sometimes we find ourselves in complicated situations – states Giusi -. Often during the construction of houses some details that are important to us are not taken into account, such as the heights of the walls and the distances necessary to position the furniture. Or there are customers who want to see first what they are going to buy: in these cases we provide practical support by using the products on display or by helping us with our render. In this way we are able to offer a service that the customer appreciates greatly, because he sees a preview of what will be created. We have also gone beyond what is our responsibility: we have done plant engineering, on-site support with tracing, and many other things with the sole purpose of helping out.”

Every day we find ourselves faced with customers with different requests: the market itself is constantly evolving! New materials are born, people’s needs and tastes change: we need to keep up, adapting to changes in the sector, maintaining the right mix of artisan skills and innovative technologies. What makes this sector unique is that each creation is different from the previous one”, concludes Giusi Niccoli.
