Giuseppe Provenzano had founded the “Aiello & Provenzano srl typographic workshops” in the 1970s, when at the age of 65, a brief illness took him away. The man, known as “Peppuccio”, leaves behind his wife and two children. Those who knew him remember him as a reliable person, available to everyone and always smiling. His disappearance it shocked the minds of the Bagheria community.

The workshops in Via del Cavaliere, in Bagheria, are still among the most well-known printers at a national level, as they were founded together with his brother-in-law Pino Aiello.

The funeral they will take place on Saturday 25 May at 9 am in the church of the Holy Sepulcher in Bagheria.

Condolences on social media

The community of Bagheria is shocked by the tragic news. Hundreds have left a message of closeness to the Provenzano family, known because of theactivity: “My God, what bad news!!! How sorry I am!!! Heartfelt condolences to the Aiello and Provenzano families. His smile and his kindness are unforgettable!!! Rest in peace Mr. Peppuccio.” – writes a user -“.

Also joining in the condolences were the man’s lifelong friends, who thus remembered Joseph: “Dear Giuseppe, almost half a century of friendship and mutual esteem bound us. I’ll miss you. Enjoy your trip, my friend… “

Resignation is difficult even among those who knew him as a worker and co-founder of the graphic workshops: “It is difficult to find good, sincere and altruistic people like him. Even though we weren’t dating, we knew each other. His goodness shone through in his gaze as in this photo. It’s difficult to resign yourself.”

Many were aware of the bad disease that struck Giuseppe who took him away in a few months: “I followed the bad evolution of the disease and its worsening day by day. I’m so sorry, dear acquaintance. Condolences to the family and particulars to Pino Aiello” – wrote another user -.

There are those who, as trusted customers, had noticed his absence at the shop: “I can’t believe it, now I understand why I hadn’t seen him in the print shop lately, I’m really saddened – he continues – He had been my companion at the elementary school and even in the 4th year of high school I will always remember his smile, heartfelt condolences to the family but believe me I am crying my eyes out…” – commented a former partner of Giuseppe’s on social media -.
