17:22:12 CASERTA. The traditional Summer Camp promoted and organized by Juvecaserta 2021 got underway on the pitch and in the gyms of the Liceo Manzoni – directed by DS Adele Vairo.
In the young and young basketball players who are participating in the camp there is a desire to do, joy in the eyes, a spirit of competition and new friendships on the horizon. The camp represents a unique opportunity for young basketball enthusiasts: it is an opportunity to perfect their basketball skills, but also to strengthen old friendships and create new ones, with a spirit of competition, but also with a great desire to have fun.
The welcome to the young participants in the camp was brought by Ciro Dell’Imperio, head of the youth sector of Juvecaserta 2021, as well as coordinator of the technicians and athletes involved in guiding the young protagonists of the camp itself. At the start of the day, all participants were given the t-shirt created for the occasion and branded by the Decò brand, always close to the Juventus club, of which it is the main sponsor of the youth activity, as well as supporting the activity of the first squad.
«It’s inspiring to see so many kids taking up our sport. The hope – states President Farinaro – is that among them there may be future protagonists in the black and white jersey, but they certainly already are and will be even more so in the coming years, the first fans of our team. On these occasions the first rule is to have fun, but the presence of so many children and young people is further testimony to the role of Juvecaserta and the affection that surrounds the club. Thanks, therefore, to our technical staff for their daily commitment, but special thanks go to Liceo Manzoni – which has activated, for the next school year, the new Scientific High School – Sports Section – and its School Head, Adele Vairo – always sensitive to the promotion of the educational and inclusive value of sport – which once again is the protagonist together with us, making the functional structures of the Institute available to us. It is also and above all from this synergy that the opportunity to give these young people four weeks of fun and sharing arises».
The first week of the Summer Camp will continue until Friday and will see the young basketball players engaged in exercises and competitions aimed at improving the skills of the participants, with special events and guests that will further enrich the experience.
From Monday 24th to the end of July 12th, there will be a further three weeks dedicated to Juventus youth basketball.
