Some summer demonstrations and events will take place in Guidonia Montecelio, “Summer Beer Colleverde”, “R-estate” in the period between 15 June and 9 July 2024, with the presence of maxi-screens for the projection of football matches which will convey a notable influx of people.

Considering that in such circumstances and following the widespread use of alcoholic and spirit substances, the possibility of dangers caused by the crushing of glass bottles and aluminum cans, sometimes used as blunt objects, increases and that this entails the need to adopt every useful element to reconcile all aspects of public interest involved, including those connected to public order and safety, as well as those relating to urban decorum; Considering that the spaces used by the event are normally used by vulnerable people such as children and the elderly;
The Municipality orders dfrom 15 June to 9 July 2024, from 6.00 pm to 5.00 am on next day the ban on the takeaway sale by anyone, including through vending machines or in private clubs, public establishments or accommodation facilities, of drinks in glass containers and aluminum cans, the possession, for the purpose of immediate consumption, of drinks in containers of glass and aluminum cans, of serving drinks in glass containers and aluminum cans by anyone with the sole exceptions listed below:
- through assisted table service inside or outside the business premises with the obligation in this case for the operators to immediately remove, at the end of consumption, the glass containers and aluminum cans used for this purpose.
- for serving coffee at the counter or at the table using small glass cups according to normal commercial uses.
The above prohibition applies in the areas affected by the events and those adjacent to them and therefore in the area included among the following roads:
– Viale Monte Bianco, Via Monte Grappa, Via Monte Gran Paradiso;
– Viale Roma (intersection of P.za Baracca and intersection of Via C. Ferrari), P.za Baracca, Viale dell’Unione, Via Visintini, Via Maddalena, Via Lunardi, Via Chiorboli, P.za Matteotti, Via Leonardo da Vinci, Via Marconi, Via Douhet, Via Olivari, Via Moreno, L.go M. Simone, L.go Duca d’Aosta, inside the public parks (P.za Caduti di Nassiriya, Pineta Comunale), Via Del Prete, Via Pezzi , Via Montelucci, L.go Gramsci;
Responsibilities for any non-compliance will be sanctioned in the amount between 25.00 and 500.00 euros and which will be attributed jointly to anyone found to have transgressed the provisions of this act unless the fact constitutes a crime.
