They amount to over one million and 200 thousand euros (1,277,633 euros to be exact) in unpaid contributions the contractual irregularities ascertained by the Carabinieri of the Piacenza Labor Inspectorate Unit at the end of all the control and inspection activities at two companies operating in the production of pre-stressed reinforced concrete.
In addition to unpaid contributions, companies are also being challenged serious deficiencies in workplace safety. The managers of the companies in question ended up in trouble.

The military ascertained a long series of violations: from the lack of maintenance of the overhead crane, to the presence of an insufficient number of fire extinguishers: furthermore, those present were not well marked and easily accessible.
The lack of traffic flow was also found due to the presence of materials in the workplace and passageways, as well as the absence of suitable vertical and acoustic signs useful for informing workers of the risk of fire and danger of falling from a height.

“In addition to the consequent provision of suspension of business activity for safety violations – we read in a note released by the Carabinieri – the soldiers of the Labor Inspectorate Unit have reported to the judicial authority the prosecutor delegated for the activity of the company based legal in the province of Teramo, but with a production plant in Alseno and the owner of a prefabricated construction company with registered office in the province of Bergamo, but with production in the same Piacenza plant: they were imposed fines amounting to almost 60 thousand euros.
