14 evenings from 27 June to 13 July 2024 for the Rugby Sound Festivalthe manifestation that in 23 editions it has become a real point of reference for the events of the Italian summer. Born as an end-of-season celebration for Rugby Parabiago, the Rugby Sound for years it has hosted prominent names of national and international music in the suggestive location ofL’Castle Island Of Legnanoon the outskirts of Milan.
Among the guests of the 2024 edition stand out i Placeboband that has revolutionized rock music through the union of other genres and musical sounds, creating a unique and unmistakable sound, but also Subsonic in the context of the new The Bubble Tourthe pillars of metal crossover Suicidal Tedencies And Agnostic Fronthip-hop bands Cypress Hill for the only Italian date e Die Antwoord (with Cosmos). L’opening of the gates of the Rugby Sound Festival it is generally set for 7.00 pm; on ticketed evenings early entry the general opening is postponed to 7.30 pm, while at 7.00 pm only holders of this ticket can enter. For the children up to 8 years entry is free.
For the occasion, on the island of Castello di Legnano there is afood area with many cuisine specialties to taste and every evening at the end of each concert the appointment is with theaftershow with free entry DJ set Wikiki Topless Club.
How to get to the Rugby Sound Festival? The Castle Island of Legnano is thegreen area located at the back of the Castle and surrounded by the Olona river: arriving from Milan, Bergamo/Brescia and Varese you reach the Castle Island by taking the A8 (Legnano exit) and continuing along Viale Cadorna towards i car parks in viale Toselli. The pedestrian entrances to the festival area are also located along the same road.
Who arrives in Legnano on the train for the Rugby Sound Festival you can reach the location with a walk of approximately 20 minutes (1.8 kilometres). Furthermore, on 4 evenings of the event, Trenorth carries out extraordinary night runs for the return to Milan, Treviglio, Varese: in particular for the Subsonic Thursday 27 August, i Placebo Monday 1st July, Coez & Frah Quintale Wednesday 3 July e Deejay Time Celebration Saturday 13 July. You can travel on such routes with a dedicated ticket at the price of 10 euros (can only be purchased online) which includes the outward journey on one of the scheduled trains to Legnano station and the return on one of the additional night connections.
