PORDENONE – Summer in Pordenone has been presented, a highly anticipated event that will be held in the city from 21 June to 15 September 2024. There are as many as 300 events on the calendar, with events spread across the squares, parks, streets of the center and in the neighborhoods, which will also involve libraries, theaters, museums, churches and numerous venues in the city.

Once again Pordenone confirms itself as a first-rate attraction center for events, music, culture and entertainment, as well as a national point of reference for large concerts.
This exhibition was created thanks to the precious collaboration of the FVG Region, Sviluppo and Territory and The Great District and can count on the support of numerous local bodies and partners.

«The Pordenone summer – states the councilor for culture and major events Alberto Parigi – embodies many elements of quality: the great concerts with the stars of the national and international scene (from rock legends to new artists loved by young people), theater for adults and children, cinema under the stars, prestigious music festivals. And then the museum exhibitions and workshops, the unexpected guided tours of Pordenone, the activities in the library, sports in the parks, the Azzurri matches on the giant screen. And so much more”.

«Pordenone is a provincial city with metropolitan dynamics that offers extraordinary opportunities and a huge number of events – underlines the mayor Alessandro Ciriani -. A city that for three months becomes a lively stage itself, involving the historic center and the neighborhoods, Piazza XX Settembre and many other squares, parks and peripheral areas on which we are putting the spotlight and to which we are giving new light. An extraordinary gathering place that aims to satisfy the tastes of a heterogeneous public, which also comes from outside the province and region. An event that can count on a lively citizen associative fabric, on the direction and support of the Municipality of Pordenone, and public and private partners.”

«The calendar of sporting events that will be held during the summer is also very rich – underlines the sports councilor Walter De Bortoli. – Pordenone has an enviable sporting liveliness, which translates the extraordinary activity of hundreds and hundreds of associations active in the city which do not stop even during the summer months but which, instead, love to organize events involving athletes and enthusiasts of all ages. And, in this, Pordenone can only support their enthusiasm and their great results.”

In terms of culture and tourism, Summer in Pordenone represents a great investment for the city, which is repaid by the ever-increasing number of visitors between June and September. In fact, in the summer months of 2023, 138 thousand presences were recorded. To exceed those figures, this year our city goes further and proposes a program worthy of Pordenone being a candidate for capital of culture. We therefore welcome everyone – Pordenone residents, visitors and tourists – and…let the curtain rise!
