Barbarano Mossano
The guided bike tour will begin in Barbarano, after an introduction to the itinerary along the Berici cycle path and the different stages and their historical-artistic peculiarity, we will reach the first stop, the Baths of Barbaranoor the Bagni di Barbarano establishment, as it was called at the beginning of the 20th century, with spring, trough and wash house.
From here, along the cycle path, we will reach the center of Barbarano and the first stop of our taste tour: the Olive mill of Barbarano, where one will be waiting for us oil tasting accompanied by bread from the local Panificio Pasticceria Righetto.
We proceed towards the central square of the town in front of the Palace of the Canons and then head towards the suggestive area of Mills of Mossano. Pedaling along this route surrounded by vineyards, we will reach the next tasting stop, the Pegoraro winery: here waiting for us, a wine tasting, accompanied by a platter. From the cellar, you return to the starting point.
FEATURES OF THE EVENT
- The initiative takes place with a minimum of 10 participants and a maximum of 20.
- The route will be done by bicycle and therefore requires bikes in good condition, preferably electric.
- The route is initially flat, then climbs gently up to the center of Barbarano. From Barbarano to Mossano, a continuous ups and downs (about 150 m in total in altitude) requires a minimum of training, therefore it is suitable for people prepared for bike tours with slight climbs (easily tackled with an electric bike).
- It is advisable to each bring a bottle of water; in addition to the tastings, there are no water supplies along the itinerary.
- Meeting point: in front of the Gasparella Agency in Barbarano Mossano (GMAPS).
- The fee includes the guided bike itinerary, guide, tastings at the oil mill with paired artisanal baked goods, wine tasting with platter at the cellar.
