Concentrations of PM10 in the air decrease, as do those of nitrogen dioxide. Over the last year, pollution in Bari has substantially decreased, in line with the average of other Italian cities monitored by researchers from the Kyoto club and the Cnr, who presented the seventh “MobilitAria” report. The study analyzed mobility and air quality in 2023 in 14 Italian metropolitan cities.

According to the study, in the Apulian capital, PM 10 particulate matter decreased by 4 percent, with seven days of exceeding the limit during 2023.
