The only Italian province with three capitals – Barletta, Andria and Trani – is the protagonist of the new journey of ‘Linea Verde Life’ broadcast on Saturday 18 May at 12.25pm on Rai 1.

Elisa Isoardi and Monica Caradonna will discover an area rich in history and nature, among fairytale castles and unique landscape views. We start from the Barletta Castle, and then visit the Margherita di Savoia salt pans. Also in Barletta we will see how creativity can give new life to waste and how ancient books are taken care of. Following, a stop in Castel del Monte, on the trail of Frederick II, and then entering the evocative landscape of the Alta Murgia National Park, with its geological peculiarities, its biodiversity, its history.

The cameras will then show the bauxite mine in Spinazzola and will look out from the “balcony of Puglia” in Minervino Murge. There will be stories of good practices that improve the environment: in Bisceglie we will talk with many volunteers about the practice of ‘plogging’ which combines physical activity with waste collection. As always, there will be a journey through the characteristic flavors of this land, from Montegrosso to Trani, where the journey will end in front of the Cathedral, symbol of the city.
