Matera, Max Cavallari and Mauro Villata close the twelfth edition of Melarido

On Saturday 18 May, starting at 9.00 pm, the Cine Teatro Guerrieri in Matera will host the last appointment of the 12th edition of the Melarido cabaret festival which will see on stage the comic duo Max Cavallari (historical member of the Fichi d’India duo, of which included the late Bruno Arena, who passed away prematurely a few years ago) and Mauro Villata with the show entitled “Comedy Ring Cabaret”. This show, like the others on the programme, will also be preceded by a short theatrical performance curated by the “Glia Angeli della Risata” company made up of some students of the Sacred Heart Institute of Matera. It was a novelty, strongly desired by the organizers of the event, i.e. Quadrum Srl, who thus intended to involve and bring younger people closer to the theater and, in particular, to cabaret. The initiative received wide acclaim from the public and critics, also because all the artists who performed met the pupils of some high schools in the Città dei Sassi, holding a real lectio magistralis on the theatre, enriching it with anecdotes and tales of personal experiences.
Further information and reservations are available at the theater box office or on the website webtic.it.
