“Verba volant, scripta manent“: we will publish a summary of the electoral programs of the four sides competing in the local elections on 8 and 9 June. Below is the political proposal of the centre-right coalition with Marco Lanzi, candidate for mayor, broken down in its fundamental points.
The priority
“Commitment to social issues will be our priority. Maximum attention for the elderly, people with disabilities and the unemployed”. As? Implementing the Peba (Plan for the Elimination of Architectural Barriers) starting with school buildings; encouraging the creation of so-called “condominiums over 65”, equipped with common spaces for socialising, home shopping services and night-time healthcare. At the same time, home shopping and transport services to places of care for the elderly, already offered by Third Sector bodies, must be strengthened. We will provide forms of psychological support for carers. It is necessary to strengthen housing policies to respond to the housing emergency, developing a project with Erap, the regional public housing body to increase housing and improve existing ones.
Educational services
“It is necessary to strengthen the offer in nursery schools and summer centers with the aim of satisfying 100% of requests, involving more the equal and private offer; the role of pedagogical coordination must be strengthened and enhanced; it is also necessary to reduce tariffs of the canteen service, promoting access to less wealthy families based on the ISEE”.
Safety
“We will strengthen the local police by increasing the staff and ensuring the updating of the staff; we will demand greater presence in the area and closer collaboration with the community; We foresee the implementation of the video surveillance circuit for control and prevention in the area”
Culture
“In the cultural sphere we will favor the rediscovery of the Pesaro identity. We will therefore valorise the places that tell our story such as Rocca Costanza and we will give ample space to quality initiatives capable of characterizing us, as well as promoting the events that already distinguish us such as the Rof and the International New Cinema Exhibition. Hence the idea of transforming the former court in via San Francesco into a large national museum center which, in addition to hosting exhibitions, will enhance the heritage networking the archaeological area of Colombarone. The revolution will be to support culture from below through an annual call open to all cultural entities that allows public contributions to be provided in a transparent and transversal way as in the 1960s, entrusting the design and maintenance to professionals”.
Young
“We are the only ones to have a civic list of under 35s: in first place they put the need to modernize and make the youth information system effective. It is a tool that must become an orientation tool for the many employment and recreational opportunities. It would be necessary to strengthen a help desk listening and psychological support for under 35s. Concessions for renting a first home; strengthening public transport; spreading coworking spaces and providing free neighborhood fitness areas”.
Urban planning
“Planning, not improvising: this is how Pesaro is turning. We need to put on the table a new urban planning tool in line with the new regional regulations, capable of keeping pace with the times of the growing city, which protects green areas; facilitates regeneration urban; make the intended use of both civil and productive properties more flexible. Enough with the logic of urban planning variations, overbuilding and imposed choices”.
Bureaucratic simplification. “We will start by streamlining the regulations for economic activities, eliminating all those bureaucratic loopholes which in recent years have unnecessarily aggravated the administrative procedures and therefore hindered the opening of new businesses by reversing the urban planning choices: no longer in favor of large-scale distribution but rather in support of retail trade and for the diffusion of natural shopping centres,
Maintenance
“We need a department dedicated to maintenance to plan interventions and ensure safety and decorum in the neighborhoods. Constant cleaning of the ditches is necessary.”
Environment
and urban greenery
“Enhancing urban greenery does not only mean reducing land consumption, but also increasing the coexistence of green areas in urban areas. Miralfiore Park is not only the green lung of the city, but must become the symbolic place for families: safe , controlled, cared for that allows us to find a synthesis between environmental protection and usability. Enough with the Park in the hands of thugs and drugs. The profits of Marche Multiservizi will be dedicated to investments and no longer given as dividends that of increasing the collection and decreasing the Tari also through the introduction of automated ecological islands throughout the city”.
