Orbetello (Grosseto). Presented today (20 June 2024) the traveling film festival “Terramara“, a project created by the Agape Odv association, with the contribution and patronage of the Municipality of Orbetello. The presentation was held in the Council room of the Municipality of Orbetello in the presence of the councilor for culture, tourism and commerce of the Municipality of Orbetello, Maddalena Ottali, and a delegation of representatives of Agape Odv: the vice president Marco Franci, the councilors Chiara Caggiula and Simone Ferrini and the voluntary member Filippo Cerri.
«”Terramare – Film and folklore festival” – they explain from Agape – is a traveling film festival in Maremma linked to the concepts of popular culture, community, tradition and future, which will take place in the municipality of Orbetello between June and September 2024. The festival plans to recover the discourses of tradition by updating them, combining conferences, presentations and workshop meetings at film screenings in unusual locations linked to the peasant and rural world: farms, farms, villages, transforming them into a real outdoor cinema arena”.
«The cinematic experience – add from the association – it becomes a driver of collective participation with the aim of producing discourses relating to the issues of the territory, of popular tradition, of development, of the need to tell and share stories. “Terramara” is a project by Agape Odv and Progetto Chinino, with the contribution and patronage of the Municipality of Orbetello and with the contribution of the Cassa di Risparmio di Firenze Foundation as part of the “Visual Arts” 2024 call. The artistic direction was to Filippo Cerri, the organizational director and communications manager is Simone Ferrini.”
