“Ordinary, extraordinary and emergency maintenance work has begun on the ‘social housing’ properties under the jurisdiction of the Municipality. Such large-scale works in Palermo had not been carried out for about 10 years, they have now been activated thanks to the commitment of this administration and will finally make it possible to secure and restore the usability and functionality of buildings and individual homes, allowing to the assigned families a safe liveability“. THE jobsentrusted to the Compat Scarl company following the resolution of the contract with the previous successful bidder, will allow the conclusion of the creation of the first implementation contract (lot 5) scheduled as part of the Framework Agreement for maintenance and emergency works on public residential buildings under the jurisdiction of the Municipality of Palermo. There expense it’s about 700,000 euros, financed with municipal funds within the economic framework of the project approved with municipal council resolution number 273 of 11/28/2022.
“We therefore maintained – adds councilor Totò Orlando – another of the commitments included in the program of the administration led by mayor Roberto Lagalla. After this first block of interventions, by 2024 we plan to award two more lots for a total of six million euros“.
