There seventh stage of the Giro d’Italia 2024 it is the Foligno-Perugia, individual time trial. The length is 40.6 km and is classified as one 4 star stop. Height difference 400 meters. As mentioned, this is the first time trial of this edition, and which will already be able to give us a picture of the balance of power in the 2024 Giro. Which still remains a long time to come, but in the meantime the general classification could change radically and undergo an initial adjustment.

We are in Umbria, in the provinces of Foligno and Perugia. From Viale XVI Giugno the runners will tackle the time trial route towards Viale Firenze and then Via Pasciana. You arrive in the hamlet of Santa Maria degli Angeli, where the first intermediate time will be taken, before touching Bastia Umbra, Ponte Valleceppi, Casaglia, Monteluce and finally Perugia.

The time trial is divided into two parts: it begins with the one of approximately 32 km, along a flat stretch with the aforementioned intermediate time taken in Santa Maria degli Angeli, at kilometer 18.6. At kilometer 34 the second survey, that of Ponte Valleceppi, and then begins the climb to Casaglia which represents the final part of the stage.
