The final day of the educational journey that has been bringing traditional sports to schools for 26 years saw the participation of more than 600 fifth-grade children from many Aosta Valley primary schools. «And I would like to underline – said the FENT president Guido Théodule – more than 1,200 fourth and fifth grade children signed up for the educational program to introduce them to traditional sports.”

The president of FIGeST, Enzo Casadidio, special guest of the event, underlined the importance of promoting these sports among young people. And for the occasion you announced that you are working on an international initiative and that you have signed a new agreement with the international “Sport for all” federation with the aim of involving all the traditional sports of the world in a single international assembly.

Meanwhile on the field, the children, after months of practice in schools, showed that they had learned the basic rules of sports and many declared that they wanted to continue to deepen one of the four disciplines practiced.

The instructors present, around 60 in total, expressed great satisfaction in seeing the children quickly learn the rules of traditional games and participate with enthusiasm. «Seeing all these children having fun – he said Guido Dufour, FENT advisor and historic tsan instructor – and wanting to learn these games gave me a great thrill. The children were very good and very attentive.”
