CARPI – A very well attended evening last night, Monday 6 May, at the Sala del ‘600 in Carpi, packed to listen to the three mayoral candidates, Annalisa Arletti, Monica Medici and Riccardo Righi, discuss the themes of the document “If children could vote”, which collects the reflections of adults – professionals and parents – and children, in fact, on the future they would like for their city, on their dreams and needs. After the presentation of the document, the three candidates expressed themselves on the numerous points and answered questions from the audience present and, at the end, agreed to sign the document.

“We are very satisfied to have been able to share the document with such a vast audience – they say promoters Maria Chiara Buzzega and Benedetta Bellocchioon behalf of the entire group of signatories – and the credit goes to all those who contributed to writing it, including children. We also thank the three candidates who accepted the invitation, prepared for the evening and agreed to the document. Now we await the concrete results that this may have in their electoral programs and, above all, once they sit in the City Council where, if we really want to keep children at the centre, there will have to be collaboration between all forces”.

The document is open in content and subscriptions. It can be downloaded from the website https://carpideibambini.wordpress.com/ and it is possible to sign it via a Google form (https://forms.gle/VTvSB6zFwWuyk4ce6).
