Gengaro attacks: the Festians are worse than Festa. Laura as Alice in Wonderland.
Laura Nargi’s candidacy for mayor is being discussed, having taken to the field with 4 civic lists a few minutes after the news of Gianluca Festa’s failure to be released from prison.
Antonio Gengaro’s comment is harsh: “Laura Nargi seems like a kind of Alice in Wonderland, she hasn’t noticed anything, she doesn’t know anything, she’s never seen anything. It’s sad for Gianluca Festa because she’s out of the picture, but it’s worth underlining that from a political and moral point of view the Festians are worse than Festa”.
Then he adds: “Now it is right that the old administration gives an account to the people of Avellino for what it has done. They explain why they rigged the competitions, why they took money to sponsor a basketball team, and why they allowed the creation of an ad hoc company for the August holiday. They must explain why they considered the Municipality as their own for five years, promoting only a model of a city of toys, and after Pinocchio only Alice was missing…”
The analysis of Gennaro Romei, mayoral candidate for the UDC, is softer.
“It was in things, it was to be expected, it is normal that Laura Nargi takes up the legacy of the outgoing coalition. As far as I’m concerned nothing changes, I continue to work on my lists, it is known that civic groupings don’t interest me, the politics and the parties must return to being protagonists”.
