Lecce, 7 May. – More violence within the home in this case with dramatic consequences, given that the victim lost the child she was carrying. Yet another personal precautionary measure was adopted last weekend night by the carabinieri of the Racale station, in the province of Lecce, coordinated by the Public Prosecutor’s Office of the Salento capital.
The military arrested a 32-year-old in flagrante delicto, as he was allegedly responsible for mistreatment in the family. They intervened following a report to 112 Single European emergency number for a dispute between a man and a woman, in an apartment in Torre Suda marina in the municipality of Racale. Once on site, the military personnel ascertained that the man, for trivial reasons, at the height of the argument, had hit his partner and cohabitant with kicks and punches, causing various bruises.
Accompanied to the emergency room of the Gallipoli hospital for the necessary treatment, the woman was confirmed to have terminated her pregnancy in the third month. after an info-investigative activity by the military of the Carabinieri, coordinated by the Prosecutor’s Office of Lecce which conducts the investigations, the man was arrested and locked up in the Lecce prison.
