This year the prestigious awards will be awarded to Nicoletta Manni, Étoile of the Teatro alla Scala et al Principal Dancer Timofej Andrijashenko, excellence in the international dance scene.
Couple in life and in dance, these two stars are attracting the attention of the whole world, not only for their exceptional technical-expressive, interpretative qualities and great stylistic versatility, but also for the special emotional bond, culminating in the marriage celebrated last summer.
The couple arrives in Fubine Monferrato, at the invitation of the Mayor Lino Pettazzi and the Artistic Director of the two Awards, Patrizia Campassiwhich together with the Municipal Administration of what can be defined as the “Gateway to Monferrato”, inaugurate supported from the Piedmont Region, from the Cassa di Risparmio di Alessandria Foundation and from Robotti d’Italia Foundationon the occasion of the tenth anniversary of UNESCO, an artistic project created by Patrizia Campassi: “Fubine Gateway to Culture”.
The DanzArenzano art award will pass the baton to the nascent one Monferrato DanzArte, giving him a past rich in history and the great work that has been achieved in twenty-five long years.
Nicoletta Manni recently appointed étoile of the Teatro alla Scala, Theater loved throughout the world, it embodies and is heir to the great Italian ballet tradition, while Timofey Andrijashenko represents the Russian one, which artistically, throughout the history of dance and ballet, has always shone considerably not only for the many wonderful artists it has given us.
The event which can be followed in live streaming, will have an exceptional host, the actor Massimo Poggiowhile to the journalist and director of the famous magazine Dance&DanceAnd Dance & Dancing International, Maria Luisa Buzzi, the artistic presentation of the Couple will be entrusted.
The Municipality of Fubine Monferrato through “Fubine brings culture” will bring together all its most important artistic events, starting with the presentation of the two Awards Sunday 12 May and from a Gala on July 13th 2024 in the splendid location “Colle Manora” by Giorgio and Marina Schon, which will host established professional dancers of international fame, such as Principal Dancer of the Royal Ballet Yasmine Naghdi and young dance promises from prestigious national academies. These young dancers will receive scholarships to support their future professional path. During the Gala the Monferrato DanzArte Lifetime Achievement Award to Luciana Savignano it’s at Marco Pierin, International Étoiles, which in 1999 they were the first to be awarded the DanzArenzano Arte Award.
Mayor Lino Pettazzi and the Artistic Director Patrizia Campassiwill share common intentions to transform Fubine Monferrato in a “crossroads” of cultural events that intertwine the great tradition of dance with innovation and the recovery of one’s cultural roots. These events will represent not only an opportunity for artistic celebration but also an opportunity for rediscovery and valorization of Monferratopromoting a fertile dialogue between national and international artists and the rich local cultural fabric.
The Cassa di Risparmio di Alessandria Foundation – he claims the president, notary Luciano Mariano – supported with great interest this initiative which allows us to bring some internationally prestigious “etoile” to the territory of the province of Alessandria, confirming the role that Monferrato plays in the panorama of cultural events.
