This morning, the Police commissioner of the province of Potenza Giuseppe Ferrari received three policemen who in the first months of the current year were placed into retirement due to having reached the age limit, handing them over their farewell medals sent by the Chief of Police – Director General of the PS.
The Commissioner, in retracing together the various moments of his colleagues’ careers, thanked them for the valuable work carried out at the service of the administration and citizens.
The delivery ceremony took place in the presence of the managers of the offices, the last places of employment of the employees.
Receiving the farewell medal were:
Deputy Inspector Donato PETROCELLI, who joined the State Police in 1985.
Previous places of service: IV Mobile Department of Genoa (1st assignment) – “Puglia and Basilicata” Crime Prevention Unit – Potenza Traffic Police Section.
In service at the Potenza Police Headquarters since 03.22.1994 – Last position held Head of the 3rd Section of the Justice of the Peace Office of the Anti-Crime Division and Shooting Training Instructor.
Deputy Superintendent Giuseppe LANCIERI, who joined the Police in 1988.
Previous places of service: Rome Police Headquarters – Puglia and Basilicata Crime Prevention Unit – Melfi PS Police Station – Head of the PG/PS Section at the Public Prosecutor’s Office of the Court of Melfi, later abolished – PG/PS Section at the Court Public Prosecutor’s Office Power.
On duty at the Potenza Police Headquarters since 12.30.2021 at the Cabinet Office-CPR Services Unit Palazzo S. Gervasio.
The Assistant Chief Coordinator Francesco VITA, who joined the Police in 1993.
Previous places of service: Caserta Police Headquarters – Puglia and Basilicata Crime Prevention Unit –
In service at the Potenza Traffic Police Section from 02.15.1999, from 2000 until the date of his retirement, he carried out operational service at the Moliterno Traffic Police Detachment.
