With three rounds to go it will be a fight until the end for first place. At the moment there is a long-distance challenge which, at least for now, rewards Trigno Celenza, overtaken a few days earlier but capable of regaining first place on Saturday. In the 23rd round of group B of the Amatori championship (Lanciano Delegation) the former league leaders Sr Calcio was held back, as in the first round, once again by Biancazzurri Casalanguida. 1 to 1 at the final whistle with Giuseppe Mucci scoring for the Vasto team and Ennio Di Martino scoring for the home team. Likewise, the Celenzani took advantage of this with their twentieth consecutive useful result (17 victories) with the 0 to 2 designed by Donato Di Pardo and Roberto Gaspari.
After eight rounds in a row without defeat, the run of the 2013 Amateurs comes to an end and, at the end of a very balanced big match, they were defeated within friendly walls. At minute 93, Real Casale, with the flash of Giulio Giuliante he confirmed himself in fifth place: 0 to 1, heavy with a boulder, it rhymed with sixth consecutive victory bringing the number of matches in a row without defeat to eleven. Perano immediately took advantage of the defeat of the Monteodorisians by grabbing, in cohabitation, the lowest step of the podium. 0 to 4 in the home of Amatori Pollutri last and surpassed by goals from Saverio Coscia, Emidio De Camillis, Roberto Spinelli and Angelo Faienza.
A Saturday without a home win, only one draw and six away wins. Including the third success in a row of the Amatori ’88 with 0 to 1 in the direct clash in the den of the Da Moretti restaurant with the decisive stamp placed by Eugenio Vitelli. US Gissi wins again, driven to success by Daniele Zocaro and Nicola Di Rocco who were decisive in the 0-2 draw against Atletico Roccascalegna (without success for 12 days). It wasn’t enough for Atletico Paglieta Alfredo Di IorioSporting Altino got up again dragged by the double (the only one on Saturday) by Pierluigi Magnante in the final 1-2.
