Del Monte’s quarter-finals conclude with the return matches® Italian A2 Cup and the Final Four scoreboard scheduled for 11 and 12 May in Cuneo comes to life.

After winning the Regular Season and Promotion Play Off of Serie A2 Credem Banca, Yuasa Battery Grottazzolina continues to work hard at the net and gets through to the Semi-final of the category cup by achieving an encore in four sets against Pool Libertas Cantù, already beaten on the way out. The newly promoted team from the Marche region finds Consar Ravenna in the semi-final, who also wins the return match on their own pitch against Tinet Prata from Pordenone, repelling the Friulian assault with a 3-1 victory. The second Semifinal, however, will pit two outsiders against each other, namely the sixth and seventh in the standings at the end of the Regular Season. After the success at the tie break in the first leg, in fact, Consoli Sferc Bescia completed the job by beating Emma Villas Siena also in Tuscany, this time in four sets, thus cutting one of the most representative teams in the category out of F4 . The external success of Delta Group Porto Viro, a privateer with the same result as the first leg on the pitch of Puliservice Acqua S.Bernardo Cuneo, the same one where the two days of the cup will be played, should also be classified under ‘company’. The Venetian team confirms itself as a tenacious team with a great personality, while the Piedmontese team misses the opportunity to chase an important trophy at home.

Italian Cup Serie A2
Del Monte® The A2 Italian Cup will be played once the Regular Season is over, and the 12 Serie A2 teams will participate (all with the exception of the two that will be relegated to Serie A3). It will be played in parallel with the Play Offs valid for promotion to the SuperLega Credem Banca. The five teams that finished from 8th to 12th place in the season, together with the three eliminated in the Play Off Quarter Final series, will play in the Round of 16, with the “two wins out of three” formula (14, 21, 28 April 2024). The four Clubs that pass the round will be paired in the Quarter Finals with the four Semifinalists of the Play Offs: two matches and the possible Golden Set (1, 5 May) will thus decide the four participants in the Final Four in Cuneo (11, 12 May) .
