Blue Factor against league leaders Viareggio: aim to sell dearly

CASTIGLIONE DELLA PESCAIA – The Blue Factor is awaiting a gala evening: at Casa Mora, in the third to last of the championship of A2 series here comes the league leaders Cgc Viareggio, who could celebrate winning the championship and returning to A1 in Maremma. Massimo Bracali’s Castiglione, however, wants to sell its life dearly, even if the Bianconeri of former Raffaele Biancucci (he played and coached the Biancocelesti) and striker Samuele Muglia lead the league table with 44 goals (in the HC in the 2011 season -12 in A2 with 22 goals plus 5 in the playoffs), they are a real battleship. In the season, with the match against Sarzana on the eighth day to be made up on Wednesday 8 May (suspended at the end of the first half), the CGC will then play again against the Ligurians in Sarzana, to close at home against Camaiore, the path has been practically clear: 13 wins and only one draw (3-3 in Camaiore). In the first leg there was little story at the Barsacchi stadium: 9-1 for the CGC, with Brunelli’s flag-winning goal for the Maremma team. In addition to Muglia, the CGC has superior category players in the team, from the Argentine goalkeeper Pablo German Gomez Tapia, former San Lorenzo, Concepcion, Uvt, Casa Italia and Banco Ispanico, before arriving in Italy, but also Romeo D’Anna, former among others also from Grosseto, 20 goals of the season. Diego Guarguaglini is always absent in Castiglione. Kick-off tomorrow Saturday at 7pm; Roberto Toti from Salerno will referee.

In B series, Blue Factor drew on the penultimate day of the championship: 8-8 at the Barsacchi stadium against CGC. A tight match with Massimo Bracali’s boys in a reshuffled formation, but always capable of coming back. Bianconeri ahead 3-0, and equal thanks to goals from Mantovani, Santoni and 14-year-old Francesco Cornacchini. Then again continuous back and forth: goals for the Biancocelesti by Mantovani (in the end poker), and Santoni, who misses a free throw 34 seconds from the siren, for the definitive 8-8. Castiglione, first, and already qualified for the finals. Serie B will be back on track on Sunday for the last day: at Casa Mora, at 3pm, with the derby against CP Grosseto.
The category finals will be played at Casa Mora Under 15 from 23 to 26 May andUnder 13 on May 30th and 31st, June 1st and 2nd.
