Edil, the “Building 5.0 Fair”, is back. In Bergamo until Sunday 29 April

Edil returns to the Bergamo fair, after ten years of waiting. The «Building Fair 5.0», organized by Promoberg, officially opened its doors on the morning of Friday 26 April, for an edition that represents a sort of year zero for the event: interrupted in 2013, also due to anomalous dynamics of the market, starts again with what would officially be the twenty-eighth edition. With the desire to become a long-term point of reference, in a territory which – on the axis with Brescia and Milan – has always represented the most important economic district in the construction sector. It will be open on three days (from 9am to 7pm), until Sunday 28th. Entrance is free: upon registration on the event website (fieraedile.it) or directly at the entrance.

At the center of the exhibition is the theme of technological innovation, linked in particular to the green economy and the smart city, therefore artificial intelligence, smart buildings and condominiums, which still today represent 60% of homes in Italy. With focuses dedicated to highly topical issues such as sustainability and digital.

The numbers

At the Bergamo Fair, 16,500 square meters have been set up, of which 6,500 are indoors and 10,000 in the outdoor area, where the large machinery such as cranes, earthmoving equipment, electronic units and elevators will be particularly noticeable. One hundred exhibiting companiescoming from five different Italian regions, with Bergamo leading the ranking of the most represented provinces thanks to the participation of 53 companies.

Not just a large exhibition, they will find space at Edil conferences, focuses, workshops and training meetingswith the possibility of viewing and downloading them from the event website, encouraging discussion between professionals and businesses, institutional representatives, the world of finance and economics.
