The 21st and final stage of the 107th edition of the Giro d’Italia is scheduled for Sunday 26 May 2024 in Rome. Road closures, bans and buses diverted are expected throughout Rome. Inside also the roads included in the route.

The Giro d’Italia arrives in Rome for its final stage on Sunday 26 May. Departure is scheduled at 3.30pm from Eur. The arrival of the catwalk is expected in via di San Gregorioafter a stop in Ostia and a 125km circuit that will touch many streets of the city of Rome passing through the Imperial Forums and the Lungotevere Aventino.

For the occasion, bans, diverted buses and road closures are planned in the capital, as can be read on the Roma Mobilità website. The last stage of the competition will be held in Rome, as already happened in the 1911, 1950, 2009, 2018 and 2023 years.

At 8pm on Saturday 25 May the first changes to traffic will take place with the closure of via del Circo Massimo, in the section and towards from viale Aventino to via della Greca. From 0.30am on Sunday Via San Gregorio will also be closed. From 4pm, traffic will also be closed to Via del Circo Massimo in the stretch from Via della Greca to Viale Aventino. Collateral events to the Giro d’Italia stage are also planned throughout the morning, between 9.30 am and 2.30 pm, which will involve both the Center and Eur. According to what Roma Mobilità communicates, 62 Atac lines will be diverted. During the race the Rome Tpl lines will also be diverted or limited 763, 764, 767, 771, 777, 778, 982 and C8. These will be diverted from approximately 12pm to 5pm. There 982, in the central area of ​​the city, based on the closures ordered from time to time by the Local Police. There C8 during the race it will not reach the terminus of viale Baldelli, limiting the route to via Accademia degli Agiati.
