Syracuse, NY — A man was reported shot Wednesday afternoon on Syracuse’s South Side.

Multiple 911 callers reported hearing gunshots and then seeing a man on the ground around 3:33 pm in the area of ​​135 W. Kennedy St., according to Onondaga County 911 Center dispatches.

A caller reported seeing shots coming from a gray truck, according to dispatches.

The reported victim was put in an SUV and driven off to a hospital, according to dispatches.

A neighbor said she heard four rapid shots.

Police taped off West Kennedy Street from Landon Avenue to South Salina Street while they investigated. At least two blue evidence markers were placed down in the middle of West Kennedy Street.
