CGIL, CISL and UIL Labor Day in Piazza Municipio

“A May 1st dedicated to responsibility, participation and concreteness in the name of the principles of the CISL which turns 74 today, of a Europe of solidarity which must put human capital at the center for dignified and quality work and of a policy which, instead, must reconfirm and strengthen in a structural manner everything relating to the protection of work, safety, health, and targeted interventions on the fragilities of our territory to stem the threat of new poverty and corporate crises”.
While Nicola Ricci, general secretary of the CGIL Naples and Campaniahe has declared:
“Peace, social justice, cohesive Europe: Naples cannot remain outside of a reflection on these issues that will be at the center of May 1st. The city needs social justice, it needs work. Just as we need to relaunch Naples’ pacifist vocation , which has always been a meeting point for many civilizations and many cultures. As regards work, we have recorded solutions to emblematic disputes such as Ipercoop and Whirlpool, we hope that there will be greater attention from the government on its fate most important city in the South and is full of potential for work, for new professions that are mortified by the large investments that are slow to arrive. Tourism must become a real production system capable of creating quality employment, wages, wealth and increase the real GDP of this city”.
