The Todde Council cancels Solinas’ last minute appointments

The Todde Council begins to cancel the last minute resolutions adopted by the previous one, led by Christian Solinas, two days before the February elections. On the proposal of the Agriculture Councilor, Gian Franco Satta, the new executive decided to withdraw the designation of the members of the board of auditors of Agris, Laore and Argea, established last February 23 by the center-right.

The spoils system is also applied to Aspal: the Council took note of the expiry of the office of the general director, Maika Aversano, and at the disposal of the councilor for Labour, Desiré Manca, gave a mandate to the general directorate of Personnel to immediately start the procedures for the selection of a new director.

An extraordinary meeting has been scheduled in two days for the appointment of the commissioner of the Municipality of Cagliari: the leadership has been vacant since the resignation of mayor Paolo Truzzu.

Meanwhile, today President Todde and the councilors also addressed other topics.

Upon the governor’s proposal, in view of the imminent firefighting campaign «and to ensure prompt operation of the Forestry and Environmental Surveillance Corps, theThe Council resolved to launch selective procedures to fill the service directorates currently vacant within the Corps and to extraordinarily extend some of the current assignments.”

Again on the proposal of councilor Desiré Manca, the executive has decided to continue the experimental active labor policy project for the two-year period 2024/2026, aimed at encouraging the reintegration of former workers in the paper sector, former Arbatax paper mill. The council therefore gave a mandate to councilor Manca to stipulate an agreement with the province of Nuoro for the definition of the procedures and provided for the transfer of the necessary resources in favor of Aspal.

40 thousand euros were then distributed for activities related to sa Die de sa Sardigna between the Municipalities of Cagliari, Sassari, Oristano, Nuoro, Iglesias, Carbonia, Sanluri, Villacidro, Lanusei, Tortolì, Tempio and Olbia.

First decisions also for the Health Councilor Armando Bartolazzi: green light for the Ares resolution regarding the adoption of the program for the detection and management of infections in the surgical field. Again on Bartolazzi’s proposal, the plan to strengthen the regional palliative care network was approved and the reopening of the terms of the accreditation procedure for healthcare facilities intended for the provision of home care was decided. The green light is also given to the planning of multi-year expenditure for the program to strengthen telemedicine services, envisaged in the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (Pnrr).
