The tests of the women’s section for the qualification for the PGS nationals, which will be held in Lignano Sabbiadoro at the end of the month, ended with the weekend of 6 and 7 April.
In the A programs there were three Olimpia Asti athletes from Asti: in the Under 15s, Paola Lukaj, who won the gold medal on the parallel bars and sixth place overall; Irene Mannini, who won silver on the beam, qualifying fifth in the all-around, and in the Senior A, Giulia Critelli, who won second place on the beam and the floor exercise, but who unfortunately fell on both the parallel bars both on vault, thus placing only fourth overall.

In the B programs, however, Mariasole Barbero took to the competition field, in the Propaganda, who came close to the podium on floor exercise; in the Under 15s, Asia Petruzzella, Gabriella Pasquali, who placed second in the overall, also winning silver on vault and bronze on floor exercise, Ottavia Milan, who climbed to the third step of the podium in the all-around, winning second place on beam, and Anna Rebuffo who dominated on vault, coming close to the podium on beam and qualifying sixth overall. In the Under 17s, Letizia Lavacca won on the beam, also winning silver on both vault and parallel bars and climbed to the second step of the podium in the all-around. Also good was the performance of her teammate Giorgia Mancuso, who despite a few too many errors managed to qualify for the national stage. Finally, in the Senior B category, Chiara Lanzavecchia performed an excellent performance which took her to the second step of the podium in the all-around, just one tenth behind the first, also winning gold on the beam and silver on the vault and floor exercise.

In the D programs, however, in the last weekend of March in the Supermini category the little Arianna Martinetto (in her debut), Marianna Cavaglià and Darma Debenedetti competed with excellent results. In the Mini category, Andrea Menino won the parallel bars with a truly important score, ranking among the top ten overall. The performances of her teammates were also very good: Carla Massano, Camilla Gatti, Lucrezia Guerra, Irene Lavacca, Letizia Porcellana and Margherita Valfré. In the Propaganda category, however, Valentina Ghidella, Sofia Imbrenda, Martina Castagneto, Martina Caria, Martina Tartarini, Marta Vercelli, Gaia Saviano, Matilde Bolle and Greta Poppa took to the field. Finally, in the Under 15 category, Maddalena Mastrolembo came third on vault, while her classmates Sofia Gatti and Ilaria Dal Rovere showed improvement compared to the first competition.
Finally, in the Promo programs, Noemi Catizzone, Leonida Frashnishth and Alessia Toscano took to the field, all at their first experience.
